Economics Online is a vertical portal where those interested in economy are directed to online information sources. The first printed version of this information service was published in 2000.
In 2005, at the initiative of long-term editor, library director Anna Sokołowska-Gogut, new online version has been made available for our readers, with functionalities allowing better and more efficient exploration of economic science resources available on the internet. Only library employees are engaged in searching, processing, evaluating the relevance and updating the resources.
In the last ten years Economics Online underwent many transformations - its subject scope has been broadened by adding more subject sections and the existing sections have been expanded. Subject index was added and it can be searched using keywords. There was also a significant increase in the number of the editing team members.
Currently Economics Online contains almost 4 200 links.
