There is an external elevator in the library, additionally, inside the building, there are two elevators and, on each floor, appropriately adapted toilets. Tables for individual work for readers with physical disabilities are located in the Information Services Department, the Main Reading Room and the Catalogues Room. In the Lending Room have been installed stationary induction loop and self-check stations (where you can borrow books on your own) that feature an adjustable table height system and changeable screen display mode.
According to the Regulations for the use of collections from the library-information system at the Krakow University of Economics, KUE students with a disability degree certificate have the right to:
- priority service,
- borrow a maximum of 10 books for up to 2 months,
- appoint a person authorized for at least one year to borrow books on their behalf. (Please fill in the authorization letter and send the signed scan to: wyp@uek.krakow.pl. Your data will be verified by the KUE Office for People with Disabilities. A librarian on duty will verify authorized person data during the first visit as well.)
