Fees and magazines covered?
An author from UEK is entitled to publish within the framework of the signed agreement in journals, included in the list.
The program allows open publication under a CC BY license at no charge of two articles accepted for publication in the current year.
How to use the program?
An author who sends an article for review fills out an online form in the ScholarOne system – more in the brochure:
under ‘primary affiliation,’ indicate your institution (only this affiliation is eligible for the Emerald program) and your UEK domain email address and select ‘Yes. I want to publish open access”
once the article is accepted, Emerald will contact the author about the license:
- if the article is eligible and the program pool is not exhausted, Emerald will offer a CC BY license (so-called voucher)
- if the article will not be eligible or the pool will be exhausted tonally choose either free publication in the subscription module (Emerald Copyright) or open publication at the expense of the author.
